Alexandre Pato confirms he hasn't retired: 'I'm still deciding'‘

Having not played since 2023, Alexandre Pato's name has once again become a topic of discussion in the football world. In an interview with Desimpedidos, the striker confirmed that he may return to the pitch soon.

“I haven’t retired yet. I’ve been struggling with the decision for two years. I weigh everything up: market value, time, etc. I’m still deciding, but I think it won’t be longer than this year whether I’ll come back or not,” said the striker.

Despite his long time away from playing, Pato is still waiting to decide his future. Recently, the 36-year-old Brazilian expressed interest in buying Fleetwood Town, a team in the English fourth division.

Having come through the ranks at Internacional, Pato has played for clubs such as Milan, Corinthians, São Paulo, and Chelsea throughout his career. In his last professional stint with São Paulo in 2023, the striker played ten games and scored two goals.

Griezmann vetoes departure to MLS

Griezmann's future has been linked to American soccer in recent times, but the player has assured that this transfer will not happen, at least for now. A standout in Atlético Madrid's 5-2 victory against Tottenham in the Champions League round of 16, the French striker vetoed a move to MLS.

“I’m very happy here and having a lot of fun. The idea is to reach the Champions League final and win the Copa del Rey with Atlético, which is my dream,” said the 34-year-old player after the victory on Tuesday (10).

With his contract with Atlético Madrid expiring at the end of the season, the 2018 World Cup winner with France could head to Orlando City, who have emerged as the main contenders for his signature. This information comes from The Athletic.

A Madrid idol, Griezmann has played 480 games, scored 210 goals and provided 88 assists for Atlético. This season, the Frenchman has spent much time on the bench and, out of 35 matches, has only started 14 times.

Former Ponte Preta prospect strengthens Caxias.

Having come through the ranks at Ponte Preta, Ravanelli played for clubs such as Athletico Paranaense, Akhmat Grozny (Russia), Paraná, and Capivariano before joining Itabaiana, his last club. In 2026, playing for Capivariano and Itabaiana, he only made seven appearances, without contributing to any goals.
