O reconhecimento, 2. A ressignificação, 3.A projeção, e 4. A constante escolha.

      2. A ressignificação

      3. A Projeção

      4. A constante Escolha

A coragem é a chave do sucesso.

The power of psychological skills in the development of grassroots and professional athletes

“Training the body is the beginning. Training the mind is the difference.”

      The invisible dimension of performance

In an increasingly competitive sports scenario, where physical limits are constantly being surpassed by technological and scientific advances, a new watershed is emerging silently but with increasing force: psychological training. Mental preparation, still undervalued by many clubs and families, is one of the most determining factors for success and longevity in an athlete's career, whether at the youth level, where it all begins, or at the professional level, where the pressure and consequences are more intense.

Body, technique and mind: an inseparable tripod

There is a lot of talk about training the physical (strength, endurance, speed) and the technical-tactical (fundamentals, team play, strategies). However, without adequate psychological support, athletes can: Sabotage their own performance in decisive moments; Feel paralyzed by fear of making mistakes; Enter into cycles of self-criticism and insecurity; Reproduce negative emotional patterns repeatedly.

When training the psychological skills, the athlete develops internal resources to deal with adversity, maintain focus under pressure and find meaning in the process.

      Essential psychological skills in sport

Below, we delve deeper into the most relevant mental skills for athletes, according to Sports Psychology and practical evidence in the field:

Focus and selective attention: The ability to focus on what matters, the ball, positioning, technical command, and block out distractions (such as boos, taunts or anxious thoughts). Focus training is one of the foundations of stable performance. Practical example: exercises with visual auditory stimuli to improve attention and response time.

Constructive self-dialogue: The way an athlete communicates internally affects their performance. Phrases like “I always get this wrong” sabotage them. “I can improve with practice” empowers them. positive self-talk changes the emotional state and decision making. Technique applied: replacing negative automatic thoughts with mantras and encouraging phrases.

Emotional control and self-regulation: In competitions, emotional instability can compromise all physical preparation. Athletes who develop emotional self-regulation remain calm even under pressure and recover quickly from mistakes. Useful tools: diaphragmatic breathing techniques, progressive muscle relaxation and emotional diary.

Intrinsic motivation and purpose: Extrinsic motivation (applause, fame, money) has an expiration date. intrinsic motivation, the pleasure of overcoming limits, representing a team or evolving, sustains consistency in training and long-term commitment. Recommended interventions: exercises to reconnect with personal values and build purposeful goals.

Resilience and antifragility: Resilience is not just about resisting pressure, but growing from it. Resilient athletes transform frustrations into learning experiences and emerge stronger from crises, such as injuries or exclusions from the starting lineup. Practical construction: analysis of episodes of failure as a source of learning, with reinterpretation of the lived experience.

Communication and emotional intelligence: Knowing how to express discomfort, listen with empathy and interact positively with colleagues and coaches directly impacts the team environment and collective performance. Proposed work: conversation circles, structured feedback and active listening in the club's day-to-day activities.

Grassroots athletes: time to build the emotional foundation

In childhood and adolescence, the brain is still developing. This is the ideal time to introduce psychological training, as the emotional and behavioral patterns formed at this stage tend to accompany the athlete throughout their career.

Frequent challenges at the base: Excessive family pressure; Low tolerance for frustration; Destructive comparisons between colleagues; Lack of self-esteem or fear of making mistakes.

Solutions: cooperative games, workshops on emotions, playful visualization techniques and family involvement in the training process.

Professional athletes: sustained performance and balance

In high performance, the technical level is high and the margins for error are minimal. What differentiates a good athlete from a champion is not physical fitness, but managing pressure, expectations and emotions at key moments.

Typical demands of the professional: Pressure from fans and media; Recurrent injuries and mental rehabilitation; Anxiety about contracts and financial future; Emotional stress from traveling and commuting.

Effective solutions: individual coaching or sports psychology sessions, pre-game mentalization strategies and emotional recovery routines in the calendar.

The way we act when implementing mental training in consulting

Daily integration: Psychological activities must be integrated into the physical and technical schedule, and not isolated. SMART Goals: define clear objectives with athletes (short, medium and long term). Continuous training: educate coaches, parents and athletes about emotional intelligence, neuroscience and sports psychology. Multidisciplinary team: psychologist, sports coach, educators and trainers need to work together.

      Parents, Training is Athlete Time!

“The greatest gift a parent can give a young athlete is the confidence to grow independently.”

Love that presses, love that liberates

Many parents dream of their children playing sports together. They are thrilled with every achievement, excited about every game, and want the best for their athletes. However, between the desire to help and the fear of failure, some cross a dangerous line: They interfere in the training space, give their opinion on technical decisions, correct postures and demand results without understanding their child's situation.

It is important to remember: training is the athlete's moment. It's where he discovers himself, makes mistakes, learns, experiments. It's where the coach is a reference and the field is the mirror of growth.

What does it mean to respect the training moment?

Training is much more than just repeating the basics. It is a space pedagogically structured, where the athlete develops: Motor and technical skills; Discipline and mindset; Emotional autonomy; Relationships with peers and coaches; Ability to listen and adapt.

When parents try to control or “improve” this process from the outside in, they end up breaking trust and the bond of security of the young person with the training space.

      When does support become pressure?

      Many parents say:

      “I just want to help!”
      “I'm here to support you!”
“I know football, I know how it works!”

But help, when it is not asked for and not adequate, turns into emotional pressure.

Signs that intervention is being excessive:

      • Correcting your child after training, with a critical tone
      • Give an opinion on positioning, technical decisions or substitutions
      • Questioning the coach in front of the athlete
      • Comparing your child to other peers
      • Reward only if the child starts or scores a goal
      • Shout instructions during the game

This all generates authority confusion, fear of making mistakes, performance anxiety and, often, early abandonment of career.

What does sports psychology show us?

Research in sports psychology indicates that:

      • Excessive paternal interference is among the main causes of anxiety in grassroots athletes
      • Athletes who feel pressured by parents have less pleasure in the game and a greater tendency to abandon the sport
      • The triple relationship (father–athlete–coach) must be built with clarity of roles and mutual respect

According to sports psychologist Christina Leclair (2021):
“The athlete needs to feel that training is a safe space for development, where mistakes are allowed. When the father invades this space with demands or corrections, he destroys this security.”

      How can parents really support?

Be a safe haven, not a watchdog: Instead of correcting, listen. Instead of demanding, ask. Instead of commanding, trust.

Strengthen your emotions: Say phrases like:
      – “I admire you for dedicating yourself.”
      – “What’s important is your effort, not just the result.”
      – “I trust your process and your coach.”

Allow the error to exist: Mistakes are part of training. Don't correct moves, don't demand perfection. Training is the space where mistakes become learning experiences.

Trust the technical team: If there is something to talk about, do it out of the athlete's sight, with humility and openness. Remember: you are the parent, not the coach

The synergy between on and off the field

Life Isn't Just About Football on the Field: The Importance of Strategy, Management and Information Off the Field

In the world of football, the playing field is undoubtedly the place where emotions are intense, talents are displayed and victories are achieved. However, it is essential to recognize that life in the sport goes beyond the four lines. The truth is that success on the field is deeply influenced by a series of factors that occur off it. Strategy, management and information are just as important as the physical and technical performance of the players.

Strategy is the foundation on which the game is built. It is the art of anticipating moves, assessing opponents and planning actions that can transform a simple match into a decisive victory. However, developing a strategy is not limited to training on the field. It starts much earlier, with detailed analysis of data, observation of past performances and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of both the team itself and the opponents.

Formulating an effective strategy requires a deep understanding of the game, as well as the ability to adapt plans as circumstances evolve. It is an ongoing process that involves integrating information, collaborating with other members of the coaching staff, and staying up to date with trends and innovations in the sport.

Managing a football team is a complex task that goes beyond simply coordinating training sessions and games. It involves resource planning, scheduling, and maintaining the physical and mental well-being of players. Good management ensures that all aspects of the team are working in harmony to achieve peak performance.

This includes managing finances, travel logistics, organizing training sessions and providing psychological support to athletes. Effective management ensures that the team is well prepared, not only physically but also emotionally, to face challenges and maintain a high level of performance throughout the season.

Information is a crucial resource that can make the difference between victory and defeat. Having access to accurate and up-to-date data on team performance, opponent statistics and match conditions can provide a significant advantage. Gathering and analyzing information allows teams to make informed decisions and adjust their tactics effectively.

Additionally, open and effective communication within the team is essential to ensure everyone is aligned on goals and strategies. Well-managed and shared information is key to efficient collaboration and creating a cohesive and productive work environment.

It is therefore essential to recognise that success in football is not just about skill and performance on the pitch. Meticulous strategy, effective management and intelligence gathering all play crucial roles in building a winning team. Life in the game is a delicate balance between physical performance and strategic preparation. To achieve great things, all aspects of the game need to be considered and managed well.

Every player and team member must understand that success on the field is a reflection of the hard work and preparation that occurs off the field as well. When all the elements – strategy, management and information – are aligned and working in harmony, the team is well-positioned to meet challenges and achieve the desired success.

      The importance of social responsibility

When it comes to social responsibility, it needs to be organized in a planned manner, so that the results and consequences emerge in a positive way for society. Business strategy becomes crucial to sustainability, as the environmental and social impact needs to be equated with the way in which a company's economic performance develops. This is where marketing and private investment come to the fore.

Transparency and ethics are essential for the project to flow in a healthy and sustainable manner in its essence. Private and independent investors incorporate the business goals of the cause through express responsibility and commitment to society. For the greater good.

This merger of investors can go beyond the transfer of financial resources. The social system incorporates other assets for the benefit of the community, such as the range of relationships and diverse and technical volunteering.

A mutual work between the marketing of the companies involved and the benefits added to the needs of society is a strategic and careful alignment with total transparency, considering that they work with the image and reputation of all those involved.

Studies in various markets show that the positive impact generated for the cause brings more resources and mobilization, in addition to adding value to the brand, creating consumer loyalty, involving employees, and benefiting the community as a whole.

How to live in high vibration

Everything is vibration. Everything is energy. It is no longer just competence, knowledge, effort or faith that count. What counts in this new world is the vibrational frequency with which we live each moment of our lives. Low frequencies such as anger, fear, sadness, etc. will lead us to a meager, pale and unhappy life. High vibrations will propel us to a beautiful, comfortable, full and purposeful life.

Let’s take the chapter “Vibration” from the “Golden Book of High Performance Life” – Henrique Amaral, as a basis, to delve a little deeper into this subject.

“I understand that the entire universe is filled with vibrations.

      I understand that, even invisible,

vibrations are existences as concrete as iron and steel.
As real as my own existence.

As constant as the sunrise and sunset.”

This first section seeks to explain that everything in the universe is vibration. There is nothing that is completely still or static. This may seem crazy, but… Even inanimate objects (chairs, tables, walls, computers) are composed of atomic particles that are in constant motion at a gigantic speed, unimaginable speeds, but in a harmonious dance of life. People in the field of science understand this position perfectly, but for many of us it seems inconceivable. Crazy. I prefer to see it as the perfection of life.

Although we cannot see vibrations with our physical senses, they exist. Example: When we enter a place (store, office, someone's home) that is quiet and peaceful, we feel peace in our being. However, when we enter places that are disharmonious and conflicting, we feel like leaving that place, because our vibration becomes incompatible with that particular place, at that particular moment.

And this reminds me of this: A friend once told me that the environment is what makes it happen. At the time he said this, I agreed, but I didn't understand how I could change a heavy environment into a light and harmonious one. Today, I have it clear in my mind that everything is vibration! And if I keep my vibration high, I am able to transform the environment I pass through. Making it happier and more harmonious. More loving!! By living in a high vibration, I am doing good, not only for myself, for my being, but for all the people around me. And this is magical! It is DIVINE!

Know how to identify what is part of your personal and professional profile – part 2

Establish esteem and credibility, that is, the public, your customers, must have a preference for you, for your brand. Identify with it to the point of creating positive associations and respect. To this end, good relationships and engagement, also in the after-sales, whether of a product or service, become essential to win loyal customers and/or prestige in your career.

Working on and expanding your network of relationships is a basic personal marketing tip. You need partners, just as you need followers and fans. Maintain relationships and closeness with people in your field of expertise or in the segment in which you work or would like to work. Attend lectures, courses, seminars, and educate yourself whenever possible. It is through relationships that you create bonds, meet people, share common interests, and are noticed and remembered.

Strategic planning is the backbone of marketing. The central point of monitoring and understanding the evolution of marketing will be through the point-by-point structuring of what needs to be done and how to do it, with immediate, short, medium and long-term actions. After all, more than identifying, the brand must generate the perception of quality assurance and commitment.

Having a way to identify yourself makes it easier to promote your work. So create a logo that is unique to you, for your social media pages and for your email signature. People will learn to associate it with you and the recognition will work in favor of your credibility.

Know how to identify what is part of your personal and professional profile

In order to improve your personal development, it is important that you are able to identify what is and what is not part of your personal and/or professional profile. What are your main values and how do you develop your skills? Your success is made up of the reasons that drive you and what you intend to do with your life. This guides your strategies. Having a clear vision of where you want to go may seem complicated at first, but start designing this path so that you can understand where you want to go.

Personal marketing is not just about appearance, but also about visuals, and its basic purpose is to create and offer value. It is what helps a person to better orient themselves with their resources and efforts, making their qualities and differences recognized. It establishes acceptance, familiarity and closeness with other people, clients and employers. Your appearance is your brand. The point is: does your appearance convey the image you want to convey to others?

Building a brand and market makes it easier to make yourself known, differentiate yourself from the competition and strengthen your image. Furthermore, to work on your personal marketing, you don't necessarily need to invest in designer clothes, but you do need to take care of your appearance, hygiene and intellect. A good tip is a well-trimmed beard for men and accessories that aren't too much for women. In a society that values appearance so much, whether you like it or not, your look and attitude are your calling card. Even if the organizational environment is flexible, basic care needs to be maintained, adapting to the place you are.

The application of digital marketing, for example, must always be based on professional ethics and excellence in the provision of the service provided, thus creating a professional strategy of alignment with the market, worthy and effective, in which you want to be part of.

Football Intermediary – Why do I need one?

Every athlete's dream is to have a prominent place on a professional soccer team and, who knows, be part of the illustrious Brazilian National Soccer Team. The athlete needs to be focused on his work on the field, and it is up to the Intermediary to seek out opportunities that make the dream a reality. But how do you know which Intermediary to choose?

The Intermediary must act as a facilitator in the Athlete's professional life. Each person has certain skills, knowledge and experiences. It is up to the Intermediary to have the subtlety to identify the professional maturity of each individual and guide them towards the alignment between their dreams, goals and achievements. The challenge is constant. The task of structuring, telling, explaining and guiding must coexist with calmness, patience and responsibility so that the Athlete feels safe and at ease to eliminate doubts. Attitudes and actions are characteristics that differentiate professionals in the market.

The development and growth of the Athlete's professional life require will and determination from both the Intermediary and the Athlete. Proximity and cooperation between both facilitates communication, transparency and credibility. These are key points that contribute to the rise of professional development.
